Bed swap
I went the other way around. my truck is a 77 and put an 81 bed on mine, I had to drill the holes as well. I went through both the top and bottom of the c channel and used the long bolt that came in the LMC kit. No issues- andym22

Opinions on Ring and Pinion brand?
I have been running Motive Gear 4.10s front and rear for a couple of years now with no issues or noise and they are made in Italy. While I was in there I swapped out the differentials for the Eaton true tracs along with the timkin bearing seal kit.- andym22

Gauge question
Tach just plugs right into switched ignition spot on fuse block, the tach harness already has the plug on it, very easy.- andym22

Gauge question
You will need a gauge cluster with a tach in it, as the cluster with the big gas gauge will not accept the tach, the back needs to be cut out for the tach to fit and the circuit board is different. I purchased a tach cluster on ebay, just look for one that will work with your oil gauge...- andym22

Brake Lights and Turn signals
Had the same issue, check your ground. When you turn headlights on your seeking ground through them. Run ground wire from ground bolt behind drivers tail light to battery ground to verify.- andym22

I just want to clarify, I'm talking about the inside of the cab not the jamb. I see the dimples for the jamb should there be dimples on the inside of the cab to pass the PW/PL wiring through? -

I'm assuming you use the existing hole in the interior of the cab that the door jamb switch wire goes through to route the power window harness. Where does the door jamb switch wire get relocated to? I have a '77 that I'm in the process of converting.
