    Interesting reading. I have the same problem with my Retro sound radio. Not every time but say once a week the radio display don't shut down, but there is no sound and you cant turn the radio off by pressing the left hand button. The only way is to pull the fuse.     I do agree with Rusty pile, rewire after the original scheme, right color coding, just follow the original scheme - wire by wire. I did that on my truck 10 years ago, and no problem at all since. Question: Where to buy fusible links?

    The illumination of mine gauges are very poor (C20 1983). Does anyone know if it is stronger bulbs for gauge cluster available? Any LED option? Best regards from a cold Sweden.

    I have finally decided to change my original headlights to LED. My truck is a 1983 Silverado. Anyone done this already and have a tip where to buý some that works, looks and functions great? Greatings from Sweden where night now starts getting darker.

    Interesting. That little o-ring was as you say very flat. So the "sad" thing can be, it was that ring, not the converter. But Im still happy.

    Happy Monday. A rebuilt converter was what needed. My TCC are there again. So nice, take of with the camper tomorrow!

    I'm on my way to take down the transmission already, new converter arrives Monday. let see. I will report the result.

    I just checked the plunge right above the solenoid and it moves easily a short 1/4 of an inch. I cross my fingers and hope the new converter will fix the problem next week. happy weekend and thanks for all your help. Andreas

    The valve above the solenoid, can one move it with a a pin when the solenoid is removed, to check the valve isn't stuck?
