Thanks, for my next project I would to put subs in barn doors. Just gotta figure out how to get wires into doors with out getting pinched. And because I don't want to bump them out to far, what kind of air space will I have.

I haven't had any overheating problems either, I do occasionally fold seats down for more floor space in the back thus closing off air circulation .

I've had this JVC unit for almost a year now. While playing on trails or hitting good sized pot holes on the highway, I never had a cd skip.

These are factory installed, they operate the barn door power locks. I'm not sure they would work for speakers, contact might not be good enough? For high output subs anyway.

So far I haven't had any overheating problems, I keep volume low when seats are down. When I get around to playing with subs I might mount the amp where the factory rear speakers used to be,( behind 2nd row seats)

Under 2nd row pass seats, lm not sure if there gonna stay there , afraid amp may over heat when seats are folded down

They look & sound awesome!! I also removed the ash tray from rear pass doors and put 6 1/2's in. And tweeters up on the door pillars. Tomorrow I'll get some pictures
