    Mounting speakers in doors

Thanks, for my next project I would to put subs in barn doors. Just gotta figure out how to get wires into doors with out getting pinched. And because I don't want to bump them out to far, what kind of air space will I have. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Mounting speakers in doors

I haven't had any overheating problems either, I do occasionally fold seats down for more floor space in the back thus closing off air circulation . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Stereo

I've had this JVC unit for almost a year now. While playing on trails or hitting good sized pot holes on the highway, I never had a cd skip. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Stereo install complete with speakers in doors with power windows

These are factory installed, they operate the barn door power locks. I'm not sure they would work for speakers, contact might not be good enough? For high output subs anyway. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Mounting speakers in doors

So far I haven't had any overheating problems, I keep volume low when seats are down. When I get around to playing with subs I might mount the amp where the factory rear speakers used to be,( behind 2nd row seats) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Door speakers

Not sure I like the stain might just go with black. Still have to cut out for door vent and squeeze crossover in there to. Maybe use a piece of alum diamond plate for a cover. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Mounting speakers in doors

What's up fellas. Spent all day in my basement yesterday making dust. This is my solution to get 6x9's in the doors. I removed the carpet from the bottom of door, used that as my templet. And things just took off from there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Door speakers That's what I'm thinking, but looking at that picture above, looks like that bracket angles down right where I would mount speaker.

    Installing stereo system

I would like to know if there's room in the doors w/electric windows for 6x9's. Or would I have to bump them out to fit . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

anyone know anything about parts washers?

My father had something similar to that and he just used strait kerosene. I remember him handing me these gunked up greasy parts and after a little scrubbing they'd look brand new. As far as what kind of pump to use, I don't know, his was just a tub with a basket

    Time for tunes

I have a 91 suburban I originally bought for parts for my 87 pickup.... Well, long story short, my 87 is now parts for my 91. I've been working on the Burban on and off for a couple of years now ( this is my daily driver) I don't remember how much room is in the doors for speakers. Has any body...
