    Typically the only time the wheel track is widened with aftermarket spindles is when you have a truck with drum brakes and convert to disc brakes. The disc brake spindles move the wheels out some but its less than a inch. If the truck already has disc brakes the track width should not change.

    I always did my tests with the engine at operating temp, or as close as it could be after taking the time to remove the plugs and screw in the gauge and check each cylinder.

    It also has a much better head. I know that 290 HP number is a little mild so I'm willing to bet the 330hp engine is closer to 350hp. My 290 HP engine came in a car I got but the 4spd helped it and it really suprized me but it did beg for some gears.

    So you said it was running before the fuel pump swap and all you did was swap the pump. Did you change anything else? Have you verified you are getting spark? Are you getting fuel? Is fuel in the tank? Are the fuel lines on the correct ports on the pump?
