    Well, found the problem. Starter drive gear hitting the flywheel. I have a 3 HP mini starter on it. There is clearance between them, maybe 10 thousands.     Front driveshaft question

    Thanks, I thought since my 84 isn't lifted it might work. Don't need any vibration. Looking at it in the truck, it don't really look like it has enough angle to require a double joint.

    Will these 2 driveshafts interchange? Mine, with the double joint is wore out where the slip yoke is, slines are shot. They both have the same bolt pattern, it'd also be nice to get rid of that double joint.

    Yes, brakes on both axles and I'm referring to the blue wire. Just wondering if there is a better way than just running a 14 ft piece of wire back to the trailer plug. With a large load and dual axle brakes, I'm concerned about heat .
