    84 gmc fuel pump question

    Have an engine from a ‘73 Monte Carlo in my 84 c10. The 73 had a 2 line pump on it. The 84 truck has 3 lines from the tank. 2 at the pump and 1 that goes over to the evap canister that has been removed. My question is should I put a 3 line fuel pump in to attach the 2 lines near the pump? Or...

    New harness is installed, just need to get starter back in and wired up. Still need to pull new wire for fuel level to tank, and hooked up but need to drop tank and dump old fuel out. Both oil pressure gauge sensor and oil switch sensor installed in back of intake. Once I get wiring all...

    Sounds good thank you! And yes I’m pretty sure one by distributor is 1/4” npt . But this block is an older block, 73, so I may need to verify there is a plug above the filter.

    By where the wires are they can go above the oil filter. The oil pressure gauge plug came out with the distributor wire.

    How about this one? I forgot I need to look at that plug still verify 2 or 3 prong. But looking at pic again you’re right appears to only have 2 terminals...

    I do have a gauge and it’s the only wire left at this point that could go to the temp sensor. I just need figure out how to run it up to the sensor now and not burn it up on the header. Thanks.

    I will have to look this evening after work to verify if it’s 2 or 3. I know 100% it has 3 slots. 2 vertical 1 horizontal.
