What have you done to your square lately??

After a few hours of investigation and trouble shooting starter ended up being dead short. Wouldn’t even spark using screwdriver across it. Sooo off to orielly again while running errands with the wife and pick up an ultima starter….. not thrilled about it but it’s what they had in stock and...

What have you done to your square lately??

Got the driveshaft in, shift linkage on, engine oil changed, oil pump primed, and dropped battery in. Tried to use the key to bump the ignition to get it pulled up on TDC but got nothing. No click nothing. Need check some voltages tomorrow and under the dash. I know a few plugs were unplugged...

Ah in the transmission pan. I bought the derale pan and it had a spot on the side for it. Right below where the transmission lockup plug is.

What have you done to your square lately??

Buddy made me a gauge holder to test fit for the ash tray. Gonna end up putting the transmission gauge there instead of removing the clock.

What have you done to your square lately??

I got my auto meter tach in today. Thought I’d ordered a 3” but it’s actually 2 5/8” which is perfect for mounting on the column and not entirely blocking the Speedo or fuel gauge. Didn’t want to drill holes in dash. It’s already cracked but didn’t wanna add to it. Got the temp sensor...

CCV Delete on L5P Duramax – Worth It or Not?

I’m not deleting it on mine but I’m doing the vse reroute. That is suppose to put the oil back into the valve cover better than the oem. And it also moves the oil fill tube to in front of the turbo pipe and makes it easier to put oil in.

    Missing piece?

That’s what I was thinking…… have to dig around inside the truck and see if I can get lucky and find it….

    Missing piece?

Seems like I’m missing a piece that keeps the spring from pushing thru and. Maintains tension on the linkage. Anyone know what it is, have one or have a part number? Thanks

What have you done to your square lately??

What’s up everyone. Been a minute, BUT I am about to drop the th350 out and get the 700r4 stabbed in. Just need to unbolt the cross member and get the jack in place. I ended up buying a 2qt larger pan for it, and a temp sensor that replaces the clock and looks like the oem gauges. I was...
