    Ok! Thanks! I got the puller and the locking plate puller got the ring off... I have the ignition cylinder and my last question is. It has these plastic tabs in the cylinder, if you see in the photos there is one on the bottom sticking out and one inside the cylinder..... Do those need to come...

    Hey y'all! Im replacing the ignition cylinder and I'm wondering....I got it all disassembled up to the locking plate. Can anyone tell me if I need to take that lock ring out entirely? Or can I use a plate removal tool with the lock ring on? All the YouTubes out there for steering wheel removal suck.

    THANKS FOR ALL THE SUGGESTIONS AND HELP! it was the fuel pump! got a new one on, and it fires right up and runs like a dream again. those mechanical pumps are a pain in the ass to put back on. took it off in 10 mins, and then it took like 2 hours to put the new one on! but its done :)

    My 83' 5.0 is a beloved and loyal truck, but it's got a problem. backstory for full reference: I've suspected maybe it's had a fuel issue for a while. I bought it from my uncle who just had a new tank and fuel lines installed on it in the beginning of the year. It has a hard time starting...

    Milky residue on glass

    Took the hideous black plastic head rack my uncle had on the back windshield and left was this milky residue that I don’t know how to get off. Any ideas? I’ve tried glass cleaner, wd40, soapy water... . I’d like to tint these soon before it gets too hot but I don’t wanna tint with it like this.

    That photo with the club was taken at my uncles spot in San Antonio before I drove it up to Arkansas . Everything is on some form of lock down in that area to either slow the thief down or prevent an attempt. People up here in Northwest Arkansas are waking up to no gas in their tanks lately....

    Hello! Got this 83 high Sierra from my uncle. Has the 305 with 62k original miles. Needs mostly interior work. Will be on here a bit trudging through the forums on tips and tricks to restoring all the lil interior and exterior details, and imagine some mechanical along the way. Thanks!
