79 K20 with 203

nevermind! lol I went out and tried it again after i posted this and just put a lil more force and it went down in and i got it in several times. Now i guess ill grease the linkage and change the fluid bc i think it is gear oil and be done.

79 K20 with 203

Hey guys im new to the fourm and to old trucks, I bought a 79 k20 as soon as i got back from boot camp and its my first old truck. Ive messed with them before but never owned one. Anyway my 203 shifts great from 4loc 4 neutral and low...but it will not go into low loc. I know about the linkages...
