    The one way check vavel on the tank is good. I have no return line from the fuel pump could that be it. Maybe it's making a vapor lock issue. I think I am having that problem.

    It's a 77 jimmy with 350 manual transmission. Edelbrock intake with a q-jet carb. What's a good starting point to start adjusting it. Right now I have to have the ideal screw damn near all the way in. I tryed putting both mixture screws 3 turns out and back the ideal screw out but it won't...

    No I don't I'll have wait to use my brothers. So do yo think aluminum foil around the steel fuel lines would stop them from getting to hot?

    I just put a new fuel pump on and still vabor locking. Do you think aluminum foil wrapped around the steel fuel line would do the job of reflecting the heat?

    Oh and the temp never goes over the second line on the gauge it never reaches the middle line so it's not overheating

    It's a 350 with edelbrock intake with a q-jet carb. Hooker headers dual exhaust. Fuel pump doesn't have a fuel return line. The fuel line runs on the inside the frame. And the fuel line gets real hott in two spots it looks burnt in this two spots. And it only vapor locks when it's hott out in...
