Help! 1991 Suburban cuts out suddenly, immediately restarts. Tried everything.
Electrical issues tend to be it works or it doesn't. Fuel issues tend to give a drivability issue prior to shutting off. What new tools have you got lately?

Will Spray max USC 2k High Gloss Clearcoat Aerosol work over metalflake paint
That SprayMax 2K clear is used by body shops all over for quick and dirty cutting in and spot repairs. It's a 2K urethane clear, you have to press the bottom of the can and it ruptures a bladder or something that makes it a true 2 part paint. What new tools have you got lately?
Won another local online auction for carbon pile battery and charging system testers. A little dated, but for $72 for both, not a bad deal. The amp clamp on the one makes it very useful chasing draws and finding junk starters that are still working but drawing too many amps. -

Footwell, rockers and cab corner replacement
This Fit everything with pop rivets, Cleco fasteners or weld tacks. If you're fitting all new aftermarket fenders, doors and rust repair pieces, it's not going to be an easy job. I would almost want to use the rusty OEM sheetmetal to get the rocker and cab corner lined up together before trying...- 1STLS1

interior rehab
Looks great!! You did a awesome job!!. I am in the middle of my interior rehab and can appreciate what it took to get it to that level. You just don't wake up on Saturday morning and expect to have it done in time for the game that afternoon. -

What have you done to your square lately??
Put it in the garage, pulled the brush guard, bumper and unbolted the core support. dropped the wheel houses out off it. I am getting ready to swap engines along with changing the a/c evaporator and heater core. Reseal the case, new blower motor, new compressor, condenser, accumulator and a/c... -

Replacing the TBI engine, suggested upgrades or changes?
Thank you for bringing this up, I have been reading that thread and still thinking about what to do. I agree on the roller cam set up but doing it with new parts gets expensive I started the swap part today, getting the old motor out first, we will see.- 1STLS1

K case 700R4
700's in 4x4 application were K case and tapped for the heavy, bolt on torque converter cover with the thread bosses to mount the strut rods to the engine mount brackets. Normal 2 wheel drive applications did not use the heavy duty torque converter cover. They are getting hard to find and...- 1STLS1

1981-87 Chrome body side molding
A trick I have used in the past for removing them quickly and painlessly is use a piece of high lb fishing line and used it to cut the tape/adhesive from the paint. No nicks, gouges and if done right, no clean up. Just wax and grease remover the area and install the new ones. Another point I... -

Replacing the TBI engine, suggested upgrades or changes?
I have looked at his site numerous times and am reaching out to hear real world examples. I never played with SBCs other than a couple TPI F bodies in the 90's and I just drove them. I put a budget of $1000 for mods, just want to get the best bang for my buck.- 1STLS1
