My concerns with running excessive oil pressure would be holding the bypass valve open in the oil filter so you are no longer filtering...

Thanks. Heres a picture of a cold start today on high idle. Medium idle drops it to just over the 60 psi mark. About 10 degrees celcius...

Industry standard is 90% but since GM says additional .25 lb. then follow that. I can tell you from personal experience that 90% works...
