    Kicking around lowering my 84 dually. Want to retain the Alcoa 16in wheels. Any fitment problems with doing that?

    Really hate to say it but off to scrap it went. Was willing to cut pieces off it for a couple people but got no response after saying i would. Would like to save as many as possible but sometimes they got to go. Sad day today. Thanks for the responses.

    Not much rust in my neck of the woods(eastern oregon) Just about every farmer around here has a square body sitting on a ditch bank. Rust free cab was shipped to MI so would ship if someone was to have it done.

    if you need the frame rail pieces to weld back on i have a 85 c30 frame i that is headed to scrap if nobody takes it whole. Am in Malin in southern oregon so shipping shouldn't be bad.

    Bought truck for parts a few years ago and this is left. Frame with front suspension. Hopefully some one in the NW area(or anywhere else) will need it before it gets cut up for scrap. Is FREE for the taking. Located in Malin, Oregon. Central Oregon down on the California border.

    Depends on your perception of cheap. Amd over 300 plus shipping by truck. Some on ebay for around 200 but who knows the quality and most add shipping(180 +/-) Swapping it isn't set in stone. Just weighing the options.

    Got my truck down for paint and 5 spd swap. Original 4 headlight support has seen better days. Have a good single light support from a 85. Will be getting buckets,lights and trim new. Question is will the grills interchange? Anything else i'll need? Thanks

    Starting off with a gen 6 block would make things a lot easier. Main oil Gallery moved up to make more room for a stroker crank. 4.5 stroke crank would make for some really short pistons(9.8 deck).     NV 4500 oil

    Swapping my Dually from a 4L80E to a NV4500 manual trans. Most use Redline MT-85 or 90 oil. Can't get it around where i live without ordering it. Any other GL-4 rated oil that can be used? Been looking at John Deere Hygard as it is GL-4 rated. Run it in all my race transmissions and it holds up...

    Want to change my rearend from 4.56 to 3.54.Need a carrier from a 3.73 of 4.10 truck. Any body got one laying around? Empty is fine.

    1984dually, 8.1l/nv4500/ Doug Nash underdrive. Current 70hd has 4.56 gears and want to go to 3.54. underdrive unit will drop the ratio to around 4.56 when towing. Can change the carrier and gears in the hd but have a 70u from a ford that is 3.54. Anybody use a 70u? Know it uses dana 60...

    Is strange that it has a bop housing. Could be that someone swapped cases. Is definitely not a switch trans. Maybe someone swapped housing But the tag looks undisturged. I got a couple other valve bodies that I will use and another bop case

    Have a one year only 64 Buick th400. Has only a 5 position selector(p,r,n,d,l) instead of the usual 6 position(p,r,n,d,2,1) selector. Still a 3 spd trans.
