Any cb’s that would fit in the radio slot?

My truck came stock without a radio, and I’m doing fine with Bluetooth. But now I want a cb, and don’t want to mount it under so my knees don’t bump it, and I’d rather not roof mount it because the headliners pretty nice. But since I already don’t have a radio, are there any cb’s that would fit...

4-6 speed, hydraulic operated shift, automatic transmissions that work with first gen 350

My trucks got a th350 right now but in the future I want to swap the transmission and do a 4wd swap. What would be a good transmission to swap in it for better gas mileage and towing etc? Also paired with a good transfer case. Needs to be heavy duty for off road use. I’ve been thinking a 700r4...

Idling high and can’t get it lower

Update: I replaced some vacuum lines, but that didn’t really drop it much. Then my starter went out and I replaced it, and it was idling lower. Idk why but yeah

Idling high and can’t get it lower

I don’t have an rpm gauge so I’m just estimating but probably ~200-400 rpm’s higher than normal. Kinda jumps the whole truck when put into gear. But after being put into gear, it drops down to its normal rpm. Then after going down the road a little it starts doing high rpm’s again and at idle...

Idling high and can’t get it lower

My sbc 350 is idling high. I have the idle screw backed out all the way and have pulled the throttle back and it is still high. I was thinking it might be the choke because it’s not closing fully, it’s the electronic one, and someone I know told me it might be the thermostat but I wanna check...

How much oil pressure is to much for a stock 350

The oil pressure went from 30 to 60 to 5 within a minute or 2. Then later on it would start at 30 then go down to 5 until the motor died.

How much oil pressure is to much for a stock 350

I got a stock 350 4 barrel that I just replaced the oil pump on, and I haven’t had it idle for more than 5 minutes at a time, mainly cause I’m working on it in the middle of the night. But whenever it is idling it starts up great, then goes up to 55-60 psi. And if you rev it it goes past 60...

sbc 350 oil pressure from 60 to 5

Got it fixed. Replaced the oil pump and now it’s idling at ~55 psi

sbc 350 oil pressure from 60 to 5

nope. Running pretty much perfect. When I went off road earlier it started sputtering and I could tell it wasn’t firing right but it’s done that before and usually stops once I get to level ground. And once I got back onto the road it started running good again so idk

sbc 350 oil pressure from 60 to 5

Mechanical. And it dropped down to around 10 after driving for a few miles and stopping, but it was still idling good

sbc 350 oil pressure from 60 to 5

It’s got good oil level, it’s 10w30 and I’ve put on about 600 miles since the last change. I just started it and it’s idling good around 20 psi. Idk what was wrong but it’s not happening now

sbc 350 oil pressure from 60 to 5

Backstory: I started it up fine and it was idling at 45 psi, which has been pretty normal lately. I figured it was just cause its been a little colder. As i got offroad it went down to about 30 psi. Then i went offroad and i noticed it didnt sound like it was firing right, but i was already up...

    Question on battery/starter

The old battery was a few years old and wouldn’t hold charge. Had to jump it whenever I wanted to drive. Also update: I went to oreillys and they said the battery’s bad, the starter and alternator are good.

    Question on battery/starter

The terminals are on tight, i have not checked the grounds. It could possibly be that, as the ground is spliced and grounded in like 3 different spots. One of the previous owners rigged a lot of stuff up not very good.
