I have what I beleive is a 2/4 drop kit that I pulled off of a truck I bought for parts and scrapped. It all there with exception of the shocks since the shafts were rusted I let those goes to scrap too. So what's included is the Rear Frame front hanger brackets that you'd remove the OEM hangers and install these. The shackles for the rear spring hangers of the rear end. Then the front coil springs, and front drop spindles. It came off of an 86 Long Bed truck, and I assume it should fit any 73-87 1/2 ton truck, or 73-91 1/2 ton 2wd Blazer/Jimmy or 2WD Suburban. I was thinking of Craigslisting it for $200. Am I on crack or it that reasonable???

Thats about half price for that kit right? I would go 250 since jerks like me always haggle when buying on craigslist.

From what I found, the kit is about $550-$600 plus shipping. But, do keep in mind, I do not have the shocks, I'd say yeah, it probably works out to half price wo the shocks. hahaha, I am one of those jerks too since it never hurts to ask, and I normally do expect them to take a lower offer on something if its an add thats been running a couple weeks and noone else wanted it. I am also not greedy, just want to recover my funds, so if ask $200 and it ended up going for just a little less, I'd be alright. If I list it and get several emails right away, then no I won't take less.

So after many questions from interested Craiglisters, I got it figured out the Lowering kit was not acutally a kit. The spindles were OEM, the OEM springs were cut, but were cut right and nicely. And the lowering shackles and rear leaf spring brakets with poly bushings were a set for lowering the rear end. Once I realized all I had was the shackle and brackets with OEM springs I dropped the price to $50. A guy who lives local to OKC but goes to school in Muskogee stopped by today and bought the parts for $50. He had a nice SB Shortbed stepside. I think he said he was 22yo, and have bought the truck for $180 when he was 14 and it was in horibble shape. So over the years he pretty much rebuilt this truck himself. Pretty nice ride. I told him about gmsb and he said he doesn't do forums. Hopefully he'll come on board and show his truck. Sounded real nice too.

That's pretty cool! If I'd known you'd dropped it that much I mighta taken it from you. Not sure if I'm going to drop my truck or not but for $50 you can buy some things that you may or may not use :) I hope the kid joins the forum :)

Sorry about that. You're right. I shoulda let everyone here known first, didn't even think about that. I hope he does too. I sent him a link to the place last night and told him to come check it out. He lives here in OKC, so he is close to me, and goes to school in Muskogee and I beleive has a bud out there or a place to stay part time, and I told him of 2 other members that live out that way, and one is dropping one to the ground. He sounded pretty interested. He sure had a nice truck though and would make a great additon to this forum.

On another board, a new member joined with a lifted square and I told them about the board. It was basically a muddin' truck but was pretty cool. The member was a chick so we may end up having our first female member before long :)

I'm sure she'll love all us foul mouthed mo-fos.
Yeah might have to turn it down a notch or 2. Maybe 5 or 6. :roflbow:

I know one chick came into a forum once, we all chilled, and damn, that girl had a naughty potty mouth (fingers, since they did the typing). She was just one of the guys.
