A friend that I grew up with worked on The Fall Guy and Dukes of Hazard. He did body and paint on the cars and trucks, he said they went through a lot of them. They had a few vehicles for close up shots and a whole field of ones for jumping. The ones they jumped that landed hard, only jumped once, then became parts trucks.
