I have had this one ton for a few years. The guy only wanted $300 for it so I couldn't resist even though I have no real plans or need for it. Hanger bearing mount is rusted out and shot. The 4 speed is there. Front clip is actually pretty good shape. Rockers and floor are really bad. Frame is decent. I would like to get this going this year also just for fun but that's unlikely considering all my other projects. As for now it just sits out back.

That's a good deal man. The hood grill and fenders front window etc. are worth way more than you paid for it where I live.

The grill and grill surround alone sold me on it. Plus the camel back manifolds are in good shape. I would really like to keep it together though and get it on the road someday. But I might just sell it also. The title transfer was around $100 so I have a around $400 into now. I might see if I can $700 for it and maybe take $600. I have decided yet.

Look at this **** we are dealing with in central Minnesota. Man I can't wait until I can afford to build another garage. A huge one with 12 or 14 foot ceiling. I hate that a lot of my stuff has to sit outside. Look at this poor thing.

Sitting in a garage can be terrible for anything metal too. Big temperature swings can cause a heck of a lot of condensation, like everything in the garage got rained on. A few days ago it got up around 60 here, after being around 0° for a while. I was running the heater, just trying to bake all the moisture out of the garage.

It so difficult watching everything you own slowly deteriorate. Not to mention our own bodies and health deteriorate also. Sometimes it hard to keep going on this stuff. But it also can be very satisfying also.

Of course I am a huge square body fan. But I really miss my 72 c10. I had a really nice one that was in excellent condition. A highlander. Of course I was a little hard up for money and decided to sell it. Aboit five years ago. Somehow I dont have a single pic of it. I did have some on my old phone but I smashed it. I am definitely going to own one again someday. It sure would look nice sitting next to my 87 half ton.

I really like the '67-'72 but I haven't been around them nearly as much as the squares. I've always been attracted to the K20's and C20/30's, as well as the Longhorn trucks. I think yours would be cool with a Longhorn bed and some little custom dually flares. Or a narrow dually axle tucked into the bed.
