I ordered a new gauge cluster housing for my 82k10 because my old one I broke a piece off. But when I got the new one (no tach w/ clock) there’s no “port” for my speedometer cable to go into and clip in. Am I missing something? Old on top new on bottom

This isn't the first time this has happened on this forum; I do believe another member posted the same problem somewhere here.

Awesome. Thanks. Now I feel silly. I figured I could “make it work” but didn’t want to ruin it and have 2 broken ones. I appreciate it.

Glad I could help, I was like hey wait a sec that seems awfully familiar, then search took place. Let us know how it goes!

I sent it back. But when I get my truck back from the shop I plan on buying another one (gauge housing) and just drill a hole for the clip. I’ll keep you posted
