2nd pic I linked is from years ago,...so I am thinking the pic of is getting on the flat bed = it can't stay where it was, and it can't stay where it is. ...young dude in the pics from years ago, is probably 55 now,...trying to get out of Jersey, and to the west coast of Florida. ... and boy would that be a great car for dry fire roads in Florida where a 2wd with a limited slip rear would be great. (edit or to follow the jeeps etc in the south jersey pine barrens,...with tow ropes)

I understand it completely. There are just as many goofy buyers as there are sellers. Can I bring a battery and try to get it running 1st. Can I have my friend pull me around the block with his truck so I can check the brakes and suspension etc. I was selling a car once a roller. No engine no transmission, guy came said he wanted it he'd come back Saturday with a trailer. I said It'll have to be after 2pm.I already have something going on can't be here until 2. What if I beat you there,can I get started loading it? I suppose that would be okay but I want to be there before it leaves. I get home 2pm cars gone. I started talking to a friend who lives near buy,he says yea I saw him pulling it down the street 10am this morning. Later when the Jack Offff called me and told me he got the car,I could just mail him the title. I told him he could come get it,I won't mail it. But then I'll have to drive back,just mail it. No if you'd have been here at 2 I'd have handed it to you. You can drive back at an arranged time and I'll be happy to hand it to you.

I just think everything about these front drive Olds Toronado 455s are cool,...as long as they stay on the pavement.
(maybe make it 4 or 6wd with a electric pusher to the Rear end).

long ago i talked to a guy restoring one,... but this one seems all there. (hopefully the frame is too).
edit: I wonder if these need fiberglass repairs like a boat,...or if they get brittle.

Here's the funny thing - I LIKE green. It is my favorite color. I think this combo is kind of fugly, though.

Green & tan was THE RAGE back then - that combo, or white in the middle , would have been better IMHO.

Despite all that - I'd rock it.

This sold for a little over $15K. This combo would've been better in the 70s than on an 80s Burb. I really don't recall seeing too many slantnose square Burbs that were green, other than the darker green with tan or gold rockers.

I was just reading the comments/ questions....as there is white paint in the engine pics on the firewall.

Answer on color: "The original color is white. The owner had it repainted to match his fleet."
So imagine a whole fleet of green things.
