Help identify this np205 transfer case

I need some help in identifying this np205. Got it from my cousin who said it was out of a squarebody, but I recently had a guy want to buy it, but said after looking closer, thinks it’s out of because it has a rectangle name plate. Figured I would see what the experts here said. It has 10 spline input and pretty sure it’s passenger side drop. Am I crazy?

The tag says 77 on it. I didn’t think I was crazy. Looks like a passenger drop front to me.

What are the worth these days? I’m not going to swap the 203 out in my daughters 78 we are building, might as well sell this one to help fund the build of hers.

IMO, $150-$300 depending on demand.
The 10 spline version is probably the most common and doesn’t bring as much value as a 32 spline unit.

I believe that's correct. My k20 was a 76 and still had the non flat yoke. I've got a 73 205 that is the same as the k20. If it was original in any way that is.

Also his tag does say 77.

Would it be the same if it was mated to a 3 speed automatic transmission? I have an NP205 in my 80' K15 GMC Suburban.

The adapter will look very similar but it’ll have a square 4 bolt flange on the trans side (should be a th350). The tcase will also be 27 spline, the 10 spline was only used with 4spds.
