The Reproduction Gold Upper and Lower Side Moldings by Mar-K were designed specifically for 1977 GMC Jimmy or Chevy Tahoe vehicles. This was the only year to have this specialized molding. Made of durable aluminum, the trim pieces add a touch of elegance with its golden color. Mar-K was the only manufacturer to make these pieces and they are no longer in business. They give your vehicle a sleek and customized look, enhancing the overall appearance of your GMC Jimmy or Chevy Tahoe. Perfect for a restoration project. Manufacturer part numbers 107137 and 107127. The complete kits consist of all the moldings for the vehicle and all attaching hardware. Does not include wheel well moldings. New - still in multiple boxes, never used.

$3500 or best offer.

I moved this thread to the appropriate part of the forum, now that you are legal beagle.

I also put K5 in the title rather than Tahoe.

I looked at the eBay listing, no actual pictures of the kit or even the boxes, it's just screen grabs from Mar-k's site (which has been down for a long time). Between that and the weird description, this just kinda gives off the scam vibe. Maybe it's just someone that's not in the car scene and doesn't know but somehow wound up with this kit (the other two items sold on their eBay store are Apple Air Pods and a watch storage box?). Idk, just hope any potential buyers are cautious.

He only has 6 posts? How is that "legal"? His other posts are not very confidence inspiring either.

Also why would you edit his post? If he said Tahoe I would leave it like that. Will warn others of the possible issue.

I for sure won't be doing any business with guy.

Because he became a paying member which then allows a member access to post in the classifieds. Honestly, I didn't even know that was one of the perks.

One of the admins is fairly certain this member is not a scammer, so here we are.

I was not aware of that either. No problem, the account just seems real fishy.

Looking at previous posts, it's just someone that has been doing (or maybe having done) a quality restoration on a '77 Jimmy. Just not the greatest salesperson.

Maybe. But on a squarebody Tahoe? That's a scammer specialty is butchering names lol

I have been approached by multiple scammers on this, and other sites as well. They are out there. Cant say for sure on this guy, but he does seem at least somewhat suspicious.

Yes, it's a big thing here and on every forum. That's just how it is these days and the reason why everyone is all alarmed about this member with a high-priced item. There's folks here, including myself, that have to weed out scammers on a regular basis. If this member had any of those indicators, this thread would not be here.

Hopefully this is the case. If so, I wish them the best of luck.

Am I just ignorant, or is the Mar-K trim actually worth that much?
