Wiring diagram needed

Neener fuggin Neener, I got the GM 1986 for 10-30 Series CK Pick-UPs, G Vans and P model Wiring Diagrams in Tri Fold pages. Prolly what you need and I think will work for 84-86. Just a matter of scanning the section you need.

My 86 is also tri fold. The size of a standard book but each page folds out. I actually prefer that way better.

I'm pretty sure you have fixed your problem, but for those out there who haven't, I had to change out my wiring when I switched motors so I went to the "Auto zone" web site and pulled up the wiring diagram for the original diesel and the wiring for the 350 I was putting in and had no problems
