The wiper cowl section where wiper arms go, I had some rust at the seams where firewall ties in to this section. I removed the old seam sealer and I'm ready to put in more, but where is there a place for the rain water to escape instead of building up. I can tell if it get high enough it will run to the outsides.

It just goes out the sides. I never noticed before that the water has to go uphill to get to the sides, that would explain why the firewall is a common rust area.

I did mine, then sprayed a few cans of that spray on rubber sealer. If you spray it thick enough, it will run down in between the cracks of the seam sealer as well. Then continue, in layers, and start from the middle, until it's high enough so the middle is not lower than the sides. Best to do it in the sun. The spray on rubber sealer runs and smooths better. Then drys level
