While the Engines out on a stand

Is priming needed even though the motor was never disassembled? It has been out for a few months, but all I removed was the intake, oil pan, timing cover just minor bolt ons.

Don't use the battery and starter to prime the motor. Pickup a cheap priming tool for a drill and use that method instead.

i agree, or take apart an old dizzy and make one.
