I think this one operates the EFE valve. Like I say without an emissions code we're just guessing.
This one looks like it's in the thermostat housing - correct?
Do you have another TVS - one screwed into the intake manifold.
You need to take pictures from further out.

This is what shows as GM part 33055378:
The part number is visible on the cap and is the same as your image.
Thread Size - NPT: 1/2" - 14 Thread; Direct OE Replacement;Number of Ports: 4; Number of Hose Connectors: 4; Hose Size - Inches: 3/16"; Contents: Ported Vacuum Switch
Alternate/OEM Part Number(s): 212108, 3055378
If we are missing something, pull the vacuum hoses off the switch and post an image.
I have to agree, the TVS that you show looks like a 3 port (triangular pattern, 2 low one high) with a rear vent but the internet doesn't agree.
Oh how I hate that damn internet!!

I'm color blind, but if it's orange and you have (or did have) a TH400 transmission installed - it's the lead that goes from the switch on the gas pedal to the detent solenoid.
