Never heard of it being used for the windows, just the door strikers.

On my truck, because its black and i wanted to match the color, i took some real thick black hose and used that instead of the pex.
It gets torn up a bit, and if you put your hand on it you get a bunch of stuff on your hands... but niether of those things have ben a problem for me.

I looked at my drivers door this morning and noticed it had a while bushing. It appears factory so I guess the pex will look good. Thanks for the help on this one.
