Anyone running with the lowered tubular control arms and upper tubular arms? I'm thinking of going this route instead of using the stock stuff. Any pros and cons that you can give me will be appreciated!

Not running tubed arms yet....

pros...camber adjustability beyond stock
much stronger than stamped oem
offered in shorter length in order to tuck front wheels AND turn without body interference ( of course if running 14" wide front wheels, mods have to be made).
Lighter than oem
easier and cleaner to install airbags with tube arms

I plan on building up my current square to road course and in doing so, tubed arms are the only sensible way to go

cons....price if custom built.

Airbagit.com has reasonable prices for arms, with balljoints included.

Well, I definitely want to go with tube arms(no air bags though)but my main concern is quality lot of offshore junk out there, also want them designed for lowered trucks, I have seen some that are supposed to be for lowered trucks but still takes a ton of shims and the retaining nuts don't have full thread engagement with proper camber, I plan to do a lot of traveling with the truck when it's done and I want it to be safe..

lots of people go with Porterbuilt control arm set up when using airbags and getting super slammed. but they are $$$

michigan metal works, ride tech, CPP, DJM are among others that makes some good products as well

See the notes at the bottom, specify for spring perches upon ordering. No extra charge

I have CPP upper and lowers. Definitely more camber, but not weight. They actually weigh more then the stamped OEM arms, but are built very well. No doubt they are much stronger, and look great on top of it.

Thanks for the info, been looking at those they do look stout, only thing I wondered about is the uppers with the ball joints on the bottom that puts all the stress on the bolts, wonder if anybody has ever had issues with that????..
