Hello,

I am getting new tires put on my 1987 K10 in the next week or so. Does anyone here run a +1 tire on the stock wheels or other sizes? Any pictures of different tire sizes (including the standard size) on the stock rally wheels on stock (non-lifted) suspension would be great!

Here is mine, with street treads and all terrains in the 2nd one, both are 31 x 10.50 x 15.

I would stay with the stock tire size, unless you plan on a gear swap in the axles. No bigger than 31 with the stock gears.
Stock 235/70/15's are usually in the 29" diameter neighborhood.

I like the look of the 31's on the suburban. They seem to fill up the wheel well a little.

Yup, thats what I have right now, but on 15x10 wheels.
31x10.5x15
I like the way they make the stance wider, but 10 is really too wide for these tires. I hope to get some 15x8s at some point.

My dad has 32x11.5x15 BF Goodrich All-Terrains on his truck, but honestly 31s would have been just as good.

Found another one of the street tread 31's.

I always assumed my rims were 15 x 10, is that wrong?

You're shitting me? Huh. Is it on the RPO codes? Damn, I feel like I had a testicle cut off just now, lol...

:roflbow: Yup. 15x8. I think my '86 said it on the RPO sheet

I've seen it on door jam tags too. 2WD are usually 15x7 and 4WD 15x8.

I am not supposed to be running those tires on anything wider than 8

you could run 33s depending on the tire. i have 33s on my truck with no rub. i do have a 2 inch add a leaf but that doesnt actually affect full compression
