Yep, 1991-93.

91 Is a year of its Own, Has a different style 20 Pin Connector then any other year
92-94 Interchange, Was the start of the later style connector
95-97 Interchange, Was the First year for the Neutral safety switch on the side of the Transmission
98 and up Interchange, Seperated Cooling Lines

HOWEVER there was an Updated Transmission connector available for the 91, which makes it possable to Interchange ALL 92-97's with a 91, But you can Not use a 91-94 with the 95 and up, because there is no way to mount the Neutral safety switch to the transmission case. 98 and up COULD be used with the earlier transmission's but you would have to use the cooling lines for the 98 and above vehichles.

yea don't forget if you are goin to buy a complete setup the 92 and newer suburbans transfer case drops on the wrong side. they are left hand drop unlike the 91's that were right hand drop. I'm pretty sure your Th400 transfer will fit on the 4l80 tho just the 4l80 is alittle longer. I have a 91 3/4 ton suburban with the 241 transfer and the 4L80 that I used to drive. I keep thinking of putting the setup in my M1028 so it will run over 55. I'm just to cheap to buy the remote controler for it.

Well if you find a 91 with the 4L80-E, and possibly grad the driveshafts out of that same 91, then they should fit your truck too. They have the same axles so all that should be the same too. I'd imagine that would be cheaper than having yours cut and extended.

Yes, the transfer case should fit, but he'll need the 4L80-E Tcase adapter.
