So the driver's side shock on the truck is loose and making a lot of racket. Before I get new ones I would appreciate if you guys could steer me in the right direction. I have the corporate 10 bolt up front SF 14 bolt rear 33 inch tires. What's the best way to get an exact measurement of the shocks I need to buy I gotta do it myself kinda rough lately. Also this fu**ing thing is heavy I'm wondering what is a good HD shock to run nothing fancy I need strength I could careless about the ride. Thanks in advance for any input.

Nothing fancy = junk in my shocking world, just saying.
Cheap shocks are like worn out shocks with new paint.
You get what you pay for regarding shocks.

Check out RockAuto for cheap shocks...

You running a lift, or are you stock height?

For stock height I've run KYB monomax shocks. And the classic yellow/blue bilsteins. Both were good for towing a trailer and both have lifetime warranties.

I am running Rancho rs5000 +4 on my K5 and they are decent. Rides like a lifted solid axle front end truck to me.
