I have a 1976 short wide bed K 10 four-wheel-drive Scottsdale with 4” lift .. my shocks are totally destroyed… What is everyone using their lifted trucks… Thanks in advance

For affordable options, most people like bilstein 51xx. Xx being the other two numbers for the specific shock. Generically speaking, they are Bilstein 5100.

They will work well for road use and slow speed trails. If you are going quicker off-road or find that you are cooking shocks, something with a remote reservoir adds more fluid volume. IIRC, 5100s are about $75 each. I believe fox 2.0s are fully rebuildable and only a few dollars more.

Beyond that, you can get into 2.5 and 3.0 territory and spend quite a bit more ($4,000+ /set)
