It started with this:

And went to this:

By some miracle, my Holly carbed engines survived:

(1) Wheels up launches

(2) Dirt trackin' 4 wheel drifts

(3) Two by four sideways mounted

(4) Lap after lap of brake rotor glowing decelerations

For over 12 years of serious racing with never a jet uncovered.. How did I ever do it???. It's a miracle, I tell ya!! Wow ---- just WOW!!
Sounds like you're doing it wrong to me.

It's a long 4 page story, but to bring you up to speed, read posts # 31, 32, 50, and 51.. Those will get you started, you can read the full thread after you submit your drafts for the preliminary design...

Like I said, it's a long story.. You, Donkey **** and myself --- , well, we got over 50 years of poor carburetor design to correct right here in the next few posts.. Check with Donkey ****, he's got this idea of a rotary manifold adapter to alleviate the angle ****...

I think a gyroscopicly suspended carburetor attached to a flexible plenum intake manifold might be promising

huh...
Sounds promising.. Ok, now for the throttle cable.. I envision a gimbal based multi-point pivoting throttle pedal.. Cruise control equipped vehicles might present a challenge, but one I think can be easily overcome By using a GPS unit to track and plot the angle of the dangle...
