What squares came with them so I can reference? I'm looking at RA and they have the clutches but not the fans.

So... back to the wreckers as not only does the fan matter but so does the clutch. Apparently reverse rotation matters to both the clutch AND fan.

So I just want to update this with a few things.

First I found a 6 blade GM fan which I am now using. I also replaced the clutch fan and now have a Hayden HD clutch fan.

Even with all this and the truck running I still cannot get my truck warm enough to get the thermostat to open!!

I'm honestly out of ideas and will be putting a place in front of the thermostat neck to redirect airflow around it.

** Edit **

Just did some reading and it seems there could be a different sized water pump pulley and crankshaft pulley. Which could cause a fan to spin to much or too little.

What size is OEM pulleys from GM?

More updates.

Was suggested to block flow to the heater core and this made no difference. So I put a piece of plywood in front of the radiator and this did in fact help.

Once I secured the plywood the temps went up as normal and thermostat opened and coolant flowed. When I did this I found that there was far less air flow all together as well as less air being blown on the thermostat housing.

I am honestly out of ideas.

well I may check the yards but my luck of finding a 3 blade would be pretty slim.

What temp thermostat are you running. I had the same issues with the 180. The only way my truck runs good is with the 195. Maybe if you lived in a dessert you could use the 180 but north of the border even the Northern United States, I would use the 195
