I am going to be swapping my 454 out of my 85 Chevy and installing a 350 I just built for a year or 2 while I rebuild the 454. The 350 has 10 miles on it and the 454 has like 250K. This is the only reason I am doing this swap before I get bashed on for doing this hahaha. I am looking at pre bent exhaust systems for header back and am only finding 2.25" exhaust kits. I don't want to go to a muffler shop cuz I don't like how they bend the pipes. I want nice mandrel bent pipe. I only need the exhaust from the header past the transfer case. The 2.25 would be fine for my 350 but I plan on building up my 454 and want some 2.5" pipe. I don't have a shop or garage and will be borrowing a flux core welder from my neighbor to do this so my resources are limited as far as being able to fab up stuff. This is my every thing truck, towing, hauling, off roading, mud drags, climbing. I don't want the exhaust to be my bottle neck in HP. My small block is around 350 HP if I had to guess. My big block will be about the same.
