Yeah, most of the time when I go to look something up in one of their catalogs the opposite happens. I think it will cost an arm and a leg....ends up being cheap like the fan shroud. I think it'll be reasonable....it's crazy like the headlights for the S-10. I could probably find the same ones online somewhere for half the price.

Dude, it takes them 2 weeks (at least!!) to get to me too and I'm only a half hour away! :) I requested one at the beginning of the summer for the 77 and didn't receive for 2 months!!

Tell me about it! I'm just rarely on that end of town unless I'm picking up parts I've ordered :)

I've heard that from more than one person. I personally have never had a problem but I have heard from others who have.

That threw me off too. I gave all my info and the lady said 6 to 8 weeks?!?! You think they would be trying to get the magazines out so more people buy their ****.

I just threw my summer edition away and use the online viewer instead.

Maybe they had to go out and print more! :Moon: haha.... It is rather mind boggling. I enjoy getting them just so that I have some good reading material while on the pot! :)

Backing way the hell up here now. GC, you know that blinker flashing faster than the other side is justa bulb burned out on that side right? Just figure out which bulb is burnt, replace it problem fixed. Also on the NO heat. I think I'd make sure the Hot/Cool Gate is moving and not stuck before I assumed the heater core it clogged up. The flapper could be manual controled like lawn mower linkage or could be vacuum controlled with a vac servo. If you can check that first, I sure would. I'm not familair with S-10s cuz I don't like working on the little bitches, but my bro went thru some hell changing a heater core once and it didn't fix his problem, so then he had me look at it was the air duct flapper door. The wire came off the top of the gate actuator. Took about 5 muinutes to fix. Boy was he pissed after he spent 2 days changing a $125 heater core.

Yeah, I probably should have looked at the dates of the post. It was my first post on the thread, so I thnk I started reading from the beggining. I'm probably about 6 months late or so. For all I know, he traded the thing on a Lambo and don't even have it anymore. Wouldn't hurt my feelings any. I've never been a fan of S-10's. Even ones with V8's. When me and my bro sit in one and we are shoulder to shoulder, I don't like. :roflbow:

I like the 82-93 S-10's but never really been into the later models. With them being square also I guess my tastes are pretty easy to predict!! :D

When S-10's hit the road in 82 I think it was, I thought awesome, we got a smaller truck now and something to compete with Yota and Datsun aka Nissan. Before then, all the Big 3 US really had was the Full size pick ups unless you got a Chevy Luv which was an Izuwho, and Ford Courier that was a Mazda, so yeah, I was happy see S-10's, Rangers and Dakota's, but my bro had one and no joke, He is 5'10 230, I'm 6'2 240-260 depending how many twinkies I ate and how much booty call exercize I had recently, but him and I sit shoulder to shoulder and damn near have to cooperate with each to lean over to put the seat belts on and I just don't like that. Not a vehicle for big folks to be comfy in. That's all really. Nothing against them, other than their size.

I think you're right. I think it was 82 (edited original post accordingly :)). My first truck was a 93 s-10 and my dad had an 85 s-15 growing up. It was his first new truck. Him, me and my brother would all fit sitting across the bench seat of that thing when we were kids. Being the youngest, I got stuck sitting in middle:flame: This is probably where I get my "affection" for them but I've never really had the problem(s) you describe. I'm no little feller but just never felt uncomfy in them
