newb front question

what all is required to convert an 84 front to the pre face-lift front? i know headlights, but what else? thanks in advance.

I think you need the radiator support as well. I assume you're talking about the mini-quad headlights found on 89-91 Blazers and Burbs. I'm not sure what else, some creative wiring for the headlights to work right. Someone here should do a writeup on this mod. I vote you do it! LOL

Ohhh ok I think you'll still need the radiator support. I'm not sure about the hood/cowl on the cab area. I'm sure others will chime in a little later.

It's easier than trying to go from 1973-80 to 1981-91. You will need:

Hood
hood hinges
Fenders
Inner fenders
Lower grille filler
associated trim
radiator support
wiper motor and arms
hood latch
Grille
Bumper
All associated hardware
Front bumper brackets are in the wrong place and will need to be moved
Wiring will have to be modified some but not much

the old hood hinge holes will need filled in the cab. The wiper posts usually require some holes to be drilled. I thought the newer style motor worked, just had to switch the linkages to match the posts, since the posts are the main part that needs changed.
