So i just installed a new digital media player into my 1977 C10.
My stock wiring harness to the radio had three wires. Yellow, black, and grey.
I hooked up the yellow to the yellow on the new stereo wiring harness (battery). Black to the black of the new harness (ground). I then ran a wire from the red wire on the new stereo harness (ignition 12v) to the fuse box under the dash. I hooked it to a loose wire hanging out of the BATT fused slot on the panel.
The radio works but when I turn off the ignition and turn it back on the clock resets and the radio goes straight to the same FM station each time. This station is also not one of my presets so I do not know why it goes there each time. Any help would be appreciated. Did I flip my ignition and batt wires?
Thanks
