 I can USE the mirrors just fine thank you!! But I definitely wouldn't tow with them or anything. There's also this thing where you can actually look over your shoulder :flipthebird: It was 10 times worse when I ran without mirrors for about 6 months. Don't try that! It's a bit hazardous :whymewhyme:

That's all right! I talk a lot of junk, too, so I can take it back in return :D

By the way, the mirrors are commonly referred to as "dumbo" mirrors. I didn't just make that up on my own ;)

Hmmmm...I wonder if a set of POWER dumbo mirrors from an early 90s Chevy van would be a bolt in...

:hmm: Those were power? I'd bet there'd be a way to make them fit. The hardest part would be how to get that power to the cab but that probably wouldn't be a huge task to overcome.

Looks like the main difference is the neck.

One could likely use the base/cover from their original mirror to make it a bolt in.

BTW, next size up from a headlight adjustment Torx is T20. :waytogo:
:High 5:

That van mirrior, I don't like that gooseneck stem. Maybe the mirror head can be swapped onto the original "L" stem. That is a good idea for a project bud.

I am usually an outside the box thinker too, but here recently, I've been doing nothing but thinking about how I can get inside the box. I've hit a dry spell and my booty calls are hooked up with bfs right now. So I either need to get some new calls, or I have to wait til one of them breaks up with their new found loves.

I am going to agree with Old on the Dumbo mirrors.. I dont like them either and would much rather prefer the smaller ones.. in the mean time I need to adjust my passenger side mirror as it moves whenever the door gets closed just like Imans

I cant figure out why my truck doesn't have the blind spot convex mirror below the right side mirror. I have a really bad blind spot on the right side of the truck. I thought they came factory with one....
