Need some help, I have bought and installed DJM lower and upper control arms. I also have order the CPP big brake kit that converts from drum to disc brakes.
I didn't know is that the BBK came with a spindle with a 2" drop and no where in the discerption does it say that, but anyway, My question is can i use the 2" drop spindle with the Upper and Lower control arms from DJM?

Welcome to the site!

Just a note, if you have lowered control arms the spindles will add another 2" to whatever the control arms are..

Thanks for getting back to me on this. I have been racking my brain on what I should do. I am wanting a 5" drop in the front and i have purchase a 6" flip kit for the rear.

Next question how big can i go on rims and tires and what kid of offset will i need? Would like to run 20" on the rear and !8" on the front

You will have a 3" drop with stock springs if you want more you can do a lowered spring, don't do a drop spindle or the control arm will be way to close to the ground, they are too low to begin with.

From what I have read, a drop spindle with drop cotrol arms is a bad combination because of the spring pocket too close to the ground. You would be better off with drop spindles and drop springs imho.

If you have all ready installed the parts, let us know how they work together.

I just finished taking everything apart. The bolt kit that come with the lower control arm is to big to fit in the shock and two the bolt won't thread into the nut that is welded on the control arm!! Going to send them back to Summit. Any suggestions on where to go from here? Keep the uppers from DJM and go stock lowers with a drop spring, or go all different uppers and lowers?

My donor is a perfect example, it has 3" lowered control arms and 2 1/2" spindles with stock springs, those spring pockets are way too close to the ground, that is dangerous IMO..
