I have a '85 GMC C2500 with a 350 - 4 bolt main engine. The guy I bought it from is the 2nd owner, owned it since 1991. He says it's the original motor. I haven't verified this. I was looking at the Edlebrock top-end power package systems and it got me wondering; do I have a hydraulic roller cam or flat tappet cam. Can anyone tell me what these motors came with stock in 1985?

Thank you

I would assume it's hydraulic flat tappet, if you want to be sure, pop the intake off and take a look, or a valve cover, maybe you could peek down the bore. I wouldn't take any valves loose though, not just to check
