I would put a 6.6 duramax in the 82 with the allison auto

I think I'd go with a Cummins and later model NV4500 in 4x4.

BTW, There is one of those older Jeep Wagoneers running around town here with a Cummins in it.

Someone in my old hood had one of those with a 90 front clip, and slammed....I mean, not more than 2.5" off the ground, white, with a mistic clear coat. Sweet.
