Hey guys, my 16 yr old daughter has been pestering me for a squarebody for 2 yrs. as she was approaching time to get her license, I began looking for one. I was at work one day, checking out cl and saw and 83 k10, sans engine, that looked promising. I had my cousin check it out, as it was near his house. He text back in a bit and said, " if you don't buy it, I am. Haha. So I embarked. I originally had in mind to put a small block 400 in it, but after some research and prodding from a friend, I decided on a 5.3 LS swap. I'm a fairly accomplished "shadetree", but have never done anything on this scale. Well, 5 months later, I have an engine, have freshened it up, cleaned up harness, gathered numerous parts, and am ready to put the engine in... hopefully tomorrow. I joined the forum because I had questions about fuel delivery. Glad to be among you guys.
