Let's just hope he's not like my ex wife and spends it when she says it's time.

When I was self employed, I usually kept 10,000 liquid cash I could get to to buy more merch for the biz. I'd tell her, I put an extra $300 cash in our personal checking for you to go blow some money on whatever you want, hair, nails, shoes, hobby or whatever. 2 weeks later the money is still there. I remind her it's there. She say, nawww, I want to get the kids some clothes, no honey, that's your money, there's $400 in the household checking for the kids clothes, school supplies or activities as they're needed. Then I come across a purchase deal for $25,000, I spend every dime we have and almost max the credit cards to get it, knowing the payoff will start coming back in quick and I leave $100 in the personal checking for a weeks worth of groceries until I start seeing a return on the purchase. THEN all of a sudden, there's only $20 in the checking. Call her up, I hope you went grocery shopping. NO, I went and got my hair done, you told me I could spend it on whatever I wanted. Yeah, that was 5 weeks ago, now I just spent $25,000 on merchandise that won't be here for 4 days and 4-5 days before I start getting a return. She ran us pretty damn thin at times. It all worked out, just moving funds around and replacing them but damn, someone says spend the money, spend the **** !!!
