Okay so my question is that have you guys ever had gauge failure? My oil pressure and water temp don't work. The sending units for both look brand new, well actually I know the water temp sending unit is new.The wires to em look good with no bare spots or anything. Is there a fuse I should check?I've been to lazy to crawl under the dash and check any of em.

I'm willing to bet it's the printed circuit on the cluster. They are well known for separating and wreaking all sorts of havoc.

So i'd have to replace the whole cluster?Or does that just include the four small gauges? My volt-meter likes to dance by itself too btw.lol It waves at me.

Might try replacing the T-stat for temperature gauge.

Yeah I need to.I honestly don't know if it even has one in it.

I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure you'd have to have one or your truck wouldn't run right but like I said I could be wrong....

If it were just the temp gauge, i might suspect the t-stat or temp sending unit, but since two gauges are not working, it leads me to the cluster.

it will run fine without a t-stat, but it will use more gas, wear out the rings faster and the heater wouldn't work well.

Yes sir you are correct. Is also more work on your water pump if i'm not mistaken.I'll throw a 180 in there if it doesn't have one.I've never like the 195 degree.Just seems too hot to me.

Like Retro said if it was one gauge, it could be just that gauge and it parts, but you said oil, water, and your volt waves at you. I would check to see if you main harness plug is plugged all the way in, if it is you more than likely have a circuit board problem.

All you would have to do is remove your dash cluster, and it's the plastic looking board on the back. They are real easy to replace, you just have to unplug everything. There is a part number on it, to make sure you get the correct one, call LMC and talk to a tech, they run about $100.00 shipped.
