hhey guys so im thinking about my fuel filtration. I currently just have the paper filament one that is in between carb and fuel line. would it a good idea for me to get an external filter and cut my metal fuel line?

thoughts yes good idea? why? is gas dirty?

Not so sure there is such a thing as to many fuel filters. That paper element one in the carb is a good one. Rather than cut the metal line, how about one before the fuel pump in the rubber line and keep all the nasty crap from running thru the pump?

I agree with Hotrod on this do it before the pump. And its not really the gas thats dirty its the stuff in the gas thats breaking the fuel lines down and plugging everything up
