Hi
I have found the two bolts that when loosened allow the top of the front fender to be adjusted, where is the bottom bolt so I can adjust the bottom of the fender?
Thanks Bob

If you are talking about the area near the door there is one on the top of the fender, one inside the door opening and one on the bottom of the fender. Crawl under the truck and look back towards the fender it is right there between the floor board and inner fender. Goes thru the hole in the red square.

Thanks, didn't see that bottom bolt behind/above the splash shield, all is better now. Is it possible to remove front fenders without removing the wheel wells too? Looks a little fiddly around the grill, other than that just some bolts is all I see to move them. I'd like to remove them to paint without giving up being able to drive truck while doing so.

Yes. Attached are the procedures (and associated images) for removal both ways - with or without the skirts.

Also, as a sort of "Welcome Aboard" gift, here is a download link (deposit files) for the complete 1981 C/K light truck service manual. Zipped - no PW:

Over here at GMSB we aim to please.
