So I bought the western chassis 5/7 for my 84 c10 long bed, but before (or while) I dive into that I figured I’d replace the ball joints, tie rod ends, a-arms or just the bushings. I’ll probably go with moof parts from rock auto, but does any one have any insight into replacing the control arms or just the bushings? Also should I replace anything else while I’m down there? Sway arm, pitman arm, etc?

Use a drill and drill holes in the old bushings, then you don't need a press to remove them
