Is ford np208 and Chevy np208 the same casing?
Or is it mirror imaged?
I can get a np208f for free and since I can't find a np208c anywhere close or cheap enough I don't have many choices

If you flipped the case all the shifter stuff would be on the bottom side of the T-case. I don't know if it would clock into the down ward position either. Most of the internals can be reused though.

Any I guess, I got a 400 with a 27 spline shaft

If you have a TH400 it has 32 splines. So you need a 205 from an 81 and newer truck any crew cab or 3500 truck will have it for sure. Needs to be from a TH400 or SM465. Make sure you grab the front drive shaft too.

Then it should be easier for you to find a 205 then, **** it, do a 203/205 Doubler.

I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it. Well I guess any 205 from a TH350 or a 208/241 from a TH350 or 700R4.
