Well I guess I'll get rid of the truck soon if I can't find even a matching trans/tcase I can afford
Looked everywhere and called every junkyard around, they either don't call back or are idiots and want 500$ for a tcase
I'm wore out from class and work and need a vehicle I don't have to share, I don't know if I can go another two months without one with the gf gettin a new job and classes changing
I'm in a hole and my ladder was stolen...

Why exactly do you need a T-case? What's wrong with the old one? Can you rebuild the old one?

Just how busted is this case? Are we talking like split in half or just a big chunk missing out of it?

Bout a 2"x2" hole

Well at least you still have the proper input gear from it. So if you find any right hand drop 208 you could open it up and swap input gears if need be. Just would need to put new seals in.

Heck the full rebuild kit, bearings and seals is like $125 so it might be worth going through the whole thing especially seeing as you have 2 spares for parts

Usually the shift fork pads wear out and then the thing starts acting up. So its always good to at the very least put new shifter pads in it.

That was my plan with the second one I got, but the inside of that where the input shaft goes is no good due to what looks like a burnt bearing that he kept running anyway

A quote for 80 pounds on a pallet for overnight is 600$ just from home to my apartment 4 hours away with an estimated value of 200$
