78 k10 13k on 350 4 bolt main , 500 miles on new thm350 with 400tc, part time converted 203 transfer case, 12 bolt rear with 3.73 gearing.

thanks. this is so fun. these are my first pics ive ever put online. And Old77 you gave me my first online complinent. i was kinda nervous cause no matter even when you do something totally right theres always some ignorant person to disagree or criticize.

mostly I'm learning about it. but as far as crazy stuff, not yet . But she runs perfectly and has gotten so much love. this truck has changed a lot since Ive had it but its been covered in a garagfor the past 12 years straight. bought it from like a 45 yr old guy whos dad bought it new.

the next things i want to do-
-get a deep dish trans pan (cast aluminum)
-find a newer carb
Ive got the old rochester 4bbl with manual choke
-find a yellowtop

stuff Ive done myself to it since Ive had it:
-had all the fluids flushed and changed(including differentials and transfer case)
-removed old transmission and put in new thm350
-new400tc
-new 32.5 inch tires(got em siped)
-no rust on original wheels, really amazing shape
-installed a decent autometer mechanical temp gauge right into intake manifold.
-installed a 10,000 btu B&M tranny cooler right in front of radiator with small spacers to ensure good airflow.
-new belts
-new spark plugs
-cut out the heat riser
-new radiator cap
-clay bar'd the crap out of her
-greased all my zerks
-put new heavy duty shocks all the way around


I like doing projects every weekend. What are some fun projects that take like 4-8 hours to do and are fairly cheap?

thank you to all you guys for the compliments. the pics really were a spur of the moment thing as the sun was setting. I will be methodically going through and taking good photos of every individual thing Ive done. (and in good daylight the photos come out so much more clear)

Man, I'm totally diggin that truck. Clean and simple......just how I like them. I wouldn't change a thing on that truck that wasn't broken. Since you had to do so much paint resto work on it, I'm assuming that is the original paint?
